The Great British Bake Off is returning to our TV screens very soon.
Channel 4 confirmed the show will be back soon and even shared a teaser trailer in anticipation of the show’s return.
In a short clip on Instagram, Channel 4 confirmed the show will be returning this autumn, but has yet to confirm the official launch date.
The clip features shots of the famous Bake Off tent, as well as the show’s infamous music.
Towards the end of the video, a blue and white gingham cloth appears with the words ‘coming soon’ on it.
The show tends to air around the middle of September so we only have a handful of weeks to go until Bake Off is back on our screens.
The past two series of Bake Off saw both cast and crew form a bubble during the Covid-19 pandemic. This meant they couldn’t see their loved ones until the end of the show.
However, things will return to normal this year.

A source told The Mirror, “We won’t be filming in a bubble this year, but protocols will be in place to keep everyone safe.”
“All the team, particularly Prue [Leith], found it really tough not being able to go home each week.
“They are delighted that this year it will go back to the way it was.
“When they filmed at weekends and could leave during the week.”
We cannot wait for The Great British Bake Off to return.
