Deadly!

If only we were 18 again…

Luckily for anyone under the age of 19, for the whole of month of July you can travel on any public transport for free.

From now July 1 until July 28 all children under the age of 19 can avail of free travel with a valid child Leap card.

The promotion aims to encourage families to get out more during the summer, and with the weather set to pick up this week, it’s a great incentive to get out and about.

The free travel promotion covers most public transport services including Dublin Bus, Luas, Dart and Commuter Rail services, so it’ll cover your Luas or bus to the zoo as well as your Dart to the beach.

It also applies to Bus Eireann services where Leap Card validators are available, which is not just fantastic for family days out but also for college students heading back home for the summer.

This includes services in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway cities as well as Ashbourne Connect and LocalLink services in rural areas across the country.

The offer is open not just to Leap card holders in Dublin but also Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford.

The Kids Go Free offer will automatically be applied on Child Leap Card 4-15 and Child Leap Card 16-18 which is valid up to the holder’s 19th birthday, as long as the card has at least one cent credit.
