As a girl who got absolutely SOAKED in this morning's rain, it's more than welcome news that this weekend is promised to be a little drier.
According to Met Éireann, the weather for the bank holiday weekend is going to be sunny.
Today's weather has been forecast as not getting much better than this morning's showers, with windy weather and spells of rain. Highest temperatures are predicted to go between 15 to 20 degrees.
For folks heading to Indiependence in Cork this weekend, it's hunreal news that Friday will be sunny and dry, which can only aid festivalgoers in their attempts to pitch their tents. The party vibe will only be increased with high enough temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees.
Anyone heading out to The Beatyard in Dun Laoighre harbour will be delighted to hear that Saturday's weather looks to be deadly too, with sunny spells and mostly dry weather predicted. Temperatures are expected to reach between 15 to 19 degrees with some breezes also anticipated.
Sunday is promised to have to have good weather also, with a day of sun predicted for the last day of July. Dry weather is expected with only a slight chance of showery spells. Temperatures have been predicted to be the same as Saturday, between 15 to 18 degrees.
Perhaps the most important day of the weekend, Bank Holiday Monday will be dry and bright, just the perfect weather for sitting in the beer garden all day either nursing a hangover or sipping on the hair of the dog.
