Two days to go… eep.

The Galway Races are in full swing and although things are different this year, the excitement and interest has certainly not wained. Now, we may not be able to tell you a whole heap about what’s happening on the racecourse but we can definitely fill you in on what we have lined up for the #HerVirtualBestDressed competition taking place on Thursday.

As you know by know it’s a fully virtual event this year, and although we certainly miss being on the ground at Ballybrit Racecourse, we’re hoping to bring as much energy and excitement as we can to the experience for all those entering. We’ve got enviable prizes lined up for the winner of ‘Best Dressed’ and ‘Best Hat’ but before we reveal all the goodies, check out one of our judges this year and the current Miss Galway, Pamela Uba, bringing us through some of her style favourites:

Down to the important stuff, how to enter… all you have to do is snap a picture of yourself as if you were heading to Ladies Day at the Galway Races, then we’re asking entrants to make a small donation to a charity of your choice and finally post the entry to Instagram… easy! Be sure to include the hashtags #HerVirtualBestDressed and #IMadeMyDonation tag @GalwayRaces and @herdotie.

A massive shout out to The Galmont Hotel & Spa in Galway who are providing are main prizes this year which include a two night stay in a superior sea view room for the lucky winner of the ‘Best Dressed’, dinner on one evening, a bottle of Champagne on arrival and a spa treatment each in Spirit One Spa. If you have the ‘Best Hat’ on the day you’ll win a two night stay in a sea view king room, dinner on one evening and afternoon tea! We also have some incredible goodies with thanks to LanaiBLO for all the finalists AND The Galway races festival are also providing the winner of ‘Best Dressed’ with a table for two on the Monday of next year’s 2021 festival.

We’re so excited to be partnering with the Galway Races festival once again this year and we can’t wait to welcome you all to the #HerVirtualBestDressed competition. Roll on Thursday!
