It turns out, plenty of folks guessed just right.

So, last week we spotted a number of vibrant, rust-coloured street art installations dotted around The Liberties.

By scanning the unique QR codes on the artwork, we found these videos:

So, ladies and gents, it turns out that the brand-new Hyatt Centric Hotel is the one behind all that brightly coloured artwork. Ahead of the hotel’s long-anticipated September opening, Hyatt Centric The Liberties decided to celebrate the area’s much-loved, eccentric characters through these colourful art installations. There’s even talk of the hotel naming some of its cocktails after these local legends.

And that’s not all, to celebrate their mid-September opening Hyatt Centric are also giving you the chance to bag some incredible prizes over at hyattdublinstories.ie! (More on that below.)

As well as embracing the true characters of The Liberties, past and present, what we especially love about the Hyatt Centric is that the hotel has committed itself to supporting local businesses by using fresh, locally-sourced baked goods (divine!), meats, fish and other produce throughout their menu at The Liberties Bar & Restaurant.

The hotel will also have a one-of-a-kind whiskey wall (how fitting!) designed to immerse all Hyatt guests into the area’s wealth of whiskey history and heritage. The Hyatt Centric has joined forces with local distilleries Teelings, Pearse Lyons and Dublin Liberties Distillery to create the Golden Triangle whiskey tasting masterclass which is set to be unlike anything we’ve experienced before!

With so much to celebrate Hyatt Centric The Liberties are giving our readers the chance to WIN a total of SIX incredible daily prizes when you go to hyattdublinstories.ie (And believe us, we’re pretty jealous we here at her can’t win!)
