Could you be the newest member of the Her team?
We are looking for a talented video content creator to join the team at Her – Ireland's leading digital destination for women.
The successful candidate will have a passion for all aspects of lifestyle content – from celebrity and fashion to health and culture – as well as a keen interest in current affairs.
You will have the ability to shoot, direct edit and post-produce video to broadcast quality across a variety of formats, from Insta stories to long-form video.
You will work with Her’s editorial team and our partner brands to produce dynamic, engaging video content. You will also work with Her’s show teams and be responsible for the editing of show clips for distribution on social platforms.
The chosen applicant will have a strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite software, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.
You will have plenty of ideas, energy and enthusiasm and be able to work in a fast-paced environment and on a variety of projects. This is an exciting role for a creative thinker.
Core responsibilities:
Shooting and editing engaging video content for use across Her’s site and social channels.
Working with the team to conceive and develop content that will resonate with Her’s audience.
Editing and post-producing content from Her’s shows, including Girls With Goals and Play X Play.
Transcription and subtitling of video cutdowns.
Writing of editorials to support video content.
Understanding and implementing Her’s social media strategy.
Staying up to date with digital consumption trends and audience engagement.
Role requirements:
Minimum two years’ experience working as a content creator, videographer or a related field.
Ability to demonstrate creative, attention-grabbing shot choices.
Proficient in the use of editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Sound production skills an advantage.
Excellent understanding of social channels and emerging platforms, and the content best suited to each of these.
A strong visual eye and excellent writing skills.
Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A team player who is also happy to show initiative.
Must be willing to work evening and weekends where required.
