#HomeToVote - These Photos Of People Returning To Ireland For The Referendum Are Just Incredible
Today the people of Ireland will take to the polls to vote on the introduction of same-same marriage... but some are travelling a bit farther than others.
Emigrants from all over the globe have been arriving into Dublin Airport in the last 24 hours to ensure that they play their part in this potentially historic occasion and sharing photos of their pilgrimage on Twitter using the #hometovote hashtag.
The movement has reached such a scale that this afternoon, #hometovote was the number one trending topic in Canada.
This is just incredible.
I flew from San Francisco to vote Yes today. No biggie. #hometovote
