Was it really an accident?
Yesterday, Donald Trump’s Twitter account was ‘inadvertently’ suspended by a Twitter employee.
His account was deactivated due to “human error” for 11 minutes, before it was reactivated by the social media site.
Twitter made a statement about the accident, saying: “Earlier today @realdonaldtrump’s account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee.
“We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.”
The site declined to comment any further.
We all know what Trump is like on Twitter… so was it really an accident? Did someone just get fed up?
Of course, everyone was amused by the whole thing:
I was there for the great vanishing of Donald Trump’s Twitter account.

We’ll never forget the 10 minutes of peace while Donald Trump’s Twitter account was down.

For the briefest of moments, Donald Trump’s twitter was deactivated. And there was rejoicing. Then it was reactivated, and we despaired.
