iPhone 6 Mania: Fans Prepared to Camp Out for 16 Days

Her

Tech addicts across New York have already started queuing outside Apple’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue ahead of next week’s expected iPhone 6 launch.

Hardcore Apple fans have been camped outside the shop since last Saturday, August 31st, despite the fact that the new phone is not expected to hit stores until September 19th.

The expectant customers will be queuing for another 15 days, with rumours abounding that some people have actually been paid by Apple fans to sit in the queue for them while they are at work.

With media invitations to a ‘special event’ on September 9th at Apple already sent out, fans are now waiting with bated breath to hear when the phone will hit stores.

The new phone is rumoured to have a bigger screen with sharper resolution. It is expected that it will also have a slimmer battery.

Many tech experts believe that Apple will unveil two different sizes of the phone at their September 9th  media event.

Apple, however, have not yet confirmed a September 19th release date, so it could be a long wait yet for all the people sitting outside!
