Ireland Manager Martin O’Neill Has Received Criticism For His Comments About WAGs

Oh no Martin, why?

Oh no.

Ireland soccer manager Martin O’Neill has drawn a lot of criticism for remarks he made about the players’ wives and girlfriends and the upcoming European Championship this summer.

At a press conference, he was asked what he thought about the Welsh policy to ban wives and girlfriends being banned from the squad’s base during the tournament.

His response was hardly ideal, saying that only ‘the good looking’ partners of the players would be permitted to stay at the team hotel, Eurosport report.

“Well, it depends on how good looking the girls are.”

“If they are really attractive, they’re very, very welcome. The uglier ones, I’m afraid not.”

OH MARTIN. Not good at all.
