Met Éireann has forecasted bitterly cold nights that will see showery spells as well as the possibility of hail and sleet.
On Monday, we will see minimums of 0-4 degrees Celsius, which is set to get even worse on Tuesday, when it is predicted that there'll be temperatures of -2 degrees Celsius. Wednesday is forecasted to be "still very cold, but a bright day, with sunny spells," ranging from 2 to 5 degrees Celsius.
While the weather is set to "improve" after midweek, we can still expect patchy rain on Thursday, and "heavy rain" on Friday so... This might be a week for staying indoors.
