A father and son have sadly passed away following a tragic incident in Turkey.
The two, who are believed to be from the midlands, were involved in a fatal road traffic incident while on a family holiday.
Their names have not been released at this time.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has now confirmed that they are aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
A spokesperson sisued a statement following the harrowing incident.
"The Department of Foreign Affairs is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
"As with all consular cases, the Department does not comment on the details of any specific case."
