A man, believed to be of Irish nationality, has been found dead at an apartment in the Algarve region of Portugal.
According to The Irish Times, the man’s body was found by friends he had been socialising with the night before.
The discovery was made early this morning and the name of the deceased has not yet been released.
It is believed that he had been staying at the Alto do Moinho apartments in Albufeira.
An autopsy is due to take place in the nearby city of Faro and a police investigation has been launched to establish the cause of death.
