Local police confirmed that the two-car crash happened yesterday afternoon Clifton Park.
Police have said that a 58-year-old man has been arrested and charged with “aggravated vehicular homicide, two counts of vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.”
The man in question is due back in court on 29 May.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has said it is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance to the dead man’s family.
