An Irish teenager has died after falling from a balcony in Majorca.
The 14-year-old boy was admitted to hospital shortly after midnight on Tuesday after falling from a second-story hotel balcony.
The boy was believed to have been standing on a chair on the balcony when he lost his balance and fell.
He passed away this morning.
The Mirror reports that the boy's mother was holding onto him as he tried to regain his balance on the Eix Lagotel balcony.
The teenager was brought to Son Espases Hospital in Playa de Muro, Palma and admitted to intensive care.
His injuries were said to be "very bad."
