Irish woman dies after being found in Berlin club

The woman sadly passed away earlier this week.

German police have confirmed that an Irish woman died after attending a nightclub in Berlin earlier this week, The Irish Times report.

It is understood that the woman sought medical attention at a place called The Suicide Club in the Friedrichshain district of the German capital on Monday morning.

Club operators called the paramedics who brought her to a clinic.

She subsequently passed away on Monday morning.

A German police spokesperson said that the woman, who has not been named, was “close to 30”.

A postmortem has been carried out, but the cause of death has not been made public yet.

The woman’s family have been informed of her death and are receiving assistance from the Irish Embassy in Berlin.

The Suicide Club acknowledged the Irish woman’s death on their Instagram account, and said that they would remain closed over the weekend.
