Jeremy McConnell appeared in court today in relation to an incident where he entered a house without permission after an altercation at a house party.

It’s thought that Jeremy was running away from two men when he entered the house in Skerries, Dublin through the unlocked back door and was found there by the owner at 6:30 am.

The woman heard a noise from downstairs and when she went to check it out, she found Jeremy hiding in her kitchen.

When Gardaí arrived at the house on the morning of February 10th, Jeremy reportedly apologised and said that he had “become disorientated” after he was chased away from the party.

According to The Sun, Jeremy attended Balbriggan District Court earlier today and was convicted of trespassing and ordered to pay a €150 fine.

He said that he was “intoxicated” at the time and this led to him entering the wrong house for which he then apologised.

Jeremy then said that he has undergone rehabilitation since the incident and work commitments have resulted in him living in Cardiff for a three-month period.

A friend of the Swords native spoke to the publication:

“Jeremy walked into someone’s house last year when he shouldn’t have. He was in a bad place at the time and wasn’t thinking straight.

“Jeremy regrets what he has done and pleaded guilty to the charge of trespass”.
