Their bodies were discovered on October 8th.

A vigil has been held in honour of Kate Donohue and her baby boy Vincent.

The bodies of Kate Donohue and her son were found at a house in Dublin 15 on Saturday.

Loved ones gathered together outside the Chapel of Ease in Clonee on Monday evening.

Tributes have been pouring in for both Kate and baby Vincent.

One wrote, “Such a tragedy, we hope she finds comfort and peace, may her little boy rest safely in the arms of the angels.”

Another added, “This is just too much. Such a caring kind person with a pure heart of gold. I hope she has found peace. God bless her and Vincent’s souls.”

“Tragic, deepest sympathies to Kate and Vincent’s family. An amazing woman and an innocent baby, gone too soon,” another shared.

Another friend shared, “I knew Kate very well. she was bright, bubbly, smart, kind, and generous. Sleep tight, Kate and baby Vincent.”

Kate and her son reportedly died days before their bodies were discovered.

Both Gardaí and emergency services were alerted when friends grew concerned for her welfare.

Gardaí discovered their bodies in an upstairs room in the home shortly after 3 pm.

Their deaths are being treated as suspected murder-suicide. Gardaí are not looking for anyone else in relation to the tragedy.
