Katie Hopkins refuses to wear a mask on flight from LA to London

This week the ever-controversial Katie Hopkins, was spotted boarding a flight to London from LA and wandering through Heathrow Airport without a face covering on. Never one to shy away from unpopular opinions, the former Apprentice star caused quite a stir on the flight and left other passengers enraged with her refusal to don a face mask. Any passengers travelling on flights amid the pandemic are being encouraged to wear masks in order to protect others (and themselves) from the Coronavirus. Hopkins had been traveling to the US attending rallies to support the re-election of Donald Trump and was filmed by another passenger settling in to her business class seat with no mask in sight. It was ridiculous and not a flight you wanted to be on". Katie has been a staunch opponent of face coverings telling her followers back in July not to wear them, she's since been banned from Twitter due to her controversial opinions but continues to talk about her reasoning via her Instagram page. Face coverings have been deemed crucial in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and most airlines have regulations that every passenger must wear a mask for the duration of their flight.
