Katie Price just suffered an epic fake tan fail

Just when you think you've bronzed every inch of your bod in just the right shade of brown tanning solution, you discover that you've gone too far. For Katie Price however, the method of application could do with improving. The model and author shared the results of a DIY faux tanning disaster on her Instagram Stories this morning. Speaking to her 1.7m fans from the back of a tour bus, Price revealed that her Fanta-orange glow and stained fingers and palms were the result of applying fake tan in a moving vehicle. To make things worse, the Loose Women panellist had forgotten to pack her tanning mitt, leaving her no option but to slather on her SkinnyTan using a sock. Yes, a sock. Explaining her predicament to the camera, the mum-of-five said: “Morning guys, we’re on the way to Manchester with the glamorous Jo… She’s taking the p**s out of my fake tan gone wrong because I did it in the van. Oh dear.” Hey, we've all been there. Nothing that six litres of body scrub and a weekend in the bath can't fix.
