Autumn can play havoc with your poor hands when they are exposed to the temperamental Irish weather.
Dry cracked hands and splitting nails are not desirable this season so we’ve been on the look out for some simple products to keep your hands soft and lovely this autumn.
Soften your Cuticles with Eau Emolliente
Removing one’s cuticles can be a sore chore but to have perfect nails, it has to be done. We love this weekly treatment, Eau Emolliente (€8.00), which softens your cuticles and allows them to be pushed back easily for perfect nails.
Wash with Putty for Your Hands
Lush’s Putty for your Hands uses ingredients like oats, vegetable glycerine, marshmallow mucilage and shea butter to soothe and moisturise your skin as you wash your hands.
Exfoliate with Soap and Glory’s Flake Away
This is our favourite exfoliator of all time. We love its delicious aroma and it contains grapeseed and almond oil, which helps us inject moisture into our skin while removing dead cells from our hands. And best of all it’s only a tenner!
Moisturise with L’Occitane Crème Mains
This buttery moisturiser (€21.95) contains 20 per cent shea butter, which penetrates the skin to protect, nourish and moisturise your hands.
Caviar Nails
This autumn’s hottest nail trend has to be Ciaté’s Caviar nails. Available in ‘Mother of Pearl’, ‘Black Pearl’ and ‘Rainbow’ these super-cool nails will bring out the best in any outfit. We’ve tried and tested the trendy manicure and the results were beyond cool!
