Kerry Katona’s ex-husband George Kay has died aged 39

George Kay has passed away.

He is understood to have died from a drug overdose. The former boxer and rugby league player, 39, was best known for his marriage to Kerry Katona. George was father to Kerry's youngest daughter Dylan-Jorge. A source close to Kerry confirmed the news to The Mirror. "Kerry was told this afternoon that George suffered an overdose and was taken to hospital, but was declared dead on arrival," the insider said.

Kerry and George first met as teenagers and reconnected later in life when George started working for her. They married in 2014 but ended their relationship 11 months later. They later got back together but ended things for good in 2017.
