Rest in peace, Kitty.
Actor Liam Neeson’s mother Kitty died over the weekend in a nursing home in Northern Ireland. She was 94 and her death came just one day before the actor’s 67th birthday on June 7.
She lived in Ballymena, County Antrim, and her death was noted during the mass at her local church, All Saints Church in Ballymena. The service was livestreamed on the All Saints Church’s Facebook page, where Parish Priest Monsignor Paddy Delargy gave prayers to those who had recently passed away:
“Let us pray for the faithful departed. We pray for those that died recently… and Kitty Neeson. Her funeral arrangements will be later.”
Kitty is survived by her four children, Elizabeth, Bernadette, Rosaleen, and Liam Neeson, and by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be buried in a private ceremony on Tuesday afternoon.
