We cannot stress enough that you probably shouldn’t read this if you like sushi, have recently eaten, are eating, want to eat soon or have a sensitive stomach.
In other words, there is a chance that you will feel queasy and/or be freaked out after reading this story.
According to recent reports, a man from the Guangdong province in China went to hospital complaining of stomach cramps. (We know you know that this isn’t going to end well.)
The thing is, he had eaten quite a lot of sashimi earlier that day.
An x-ray (which you can see below) revealed that his insides were actually crawling with tapeworm parasites as the sushi had been contaminated.
