Will it be a White Christmas?
There’s been a lot of discussion in the office about whether it would be good or bad for it to snow on Christmas Day.
One the one hand it would be gloriously festive, but on the other hand, it means public transport will most likely be chaos, people will be stuck in their homes and it could be a disaster.
However, it looks like there might be snow this year as BoyleSports say they’re staying optimistic about 2018 having a White Christmas.
According to The Sun, Aoife Heffron spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Halloween may not have been a white one, but there was some snow spotted in parts of the country in the lead up to it.
“However despite weather warnings of icy evenings ahead, we have pushed out the odds of November breaking it’s coldest day record this year to 16/1 which will come as a relief to everyone as we begin to really feel the effects of the colder weather.”
She added: “We remain optimistic about a white Christmas with the odds staying strong at 11/4, so we will be keeping a close eye on weather reports in the run up to the big festive season as the odds will surely change in the coming weeks.”
