People were shocked after Conor McGregor’s recent defeat at the hands of Nate Diaz during UFC 196, but now it looks like these two will meet again.
According to MMAFighting.com, the UFC is close to finalizing a non-title welterweight rematch between the two fighters for July 9th this year, and they are hoping to announce the fight shortly.
McGregor’s loss earlier this month was his first in eight fights.
The rematch is set to take place at the new T-Mobile Arena In Las Vegas.
The rematch between Diaz and McGregor will see Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar forced to wait before they can take on the Notorious.
