Now, that’s the news we want to hear.

The best start to Monday is hearing that the weather is going to be decent for the week. And it’s not just going to be decent, it’s going to be great.

According to Met Eireann, temperatures are going to reach highs of 27 degrees this week. Starting off dry today, it will become warm in the afternoon with temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees expected.

The good weather will carry through the night and into tomorrow where top temperatures will reach 27 degrees. There is a slight chance that there could be some thundery showers in the evening. Overnight temperatures will remain in the low to mid teens.

The outlook for the rest of the week is looking good with Wednesday starting out humid and cloudy with some rain expected. It will still be warm with temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees. Rain and winds will clear in the afternoon and evening.

Thursday looks like it will be the same – a mix of light showers and sunny spells. It will be warmest in the east and southeast with temperatures ranging from 17 to 22 degrees.

The forecast for the weekend is for mild and humid weather. There are chances of light rain showers but will mostly be dry and sunny.
