Lululemon to get flagship store on Dublin’s Grafton Street

Ellen Fitzpatrick

Finally some good news.

The last year or so has just been bad news on top of bad news, but we’ve finally got something good to share.

Lululemon is getting its very own flagship store on Dublin’s Grafton Street this year.

The athleisure store is taking over the spot that Pamela Scott was once in, and if anyone remembers that, it’s a pretty big store.

Expecting to open this October with a 10 year lease, they will take over the ground floor and the first floor, packing it full of all the stunning leggings imaginable.

Lululemon does already have a store in Dublin, the Canadian fashion brand has been in Brown Thomas since 2018 but moving to the new store will be a massive expansion on their concession.

This is the next biggest investment for Grafton Street, developing it into Dublin’s main shopping district.

Lululemon isn’t the only thing making big changes to Grafton Street as German investor Deka Immobilien bought the & Other Stories property from Aviva Investors for a whopping €22 million.

Hugo Boss is also making investments, extending their lease on their Grafton Street location after their last one expired. So at least we know they’re not going anywhere anytime soon.

Tommy Hilfiger, however, has announced that they will be closing their Grafton Street location permanently. Our hearts can’t take it.

Lululemon, which originally became known for their functional – and seriously stylish – yoga wear, is now hailed by fitness enthusiasts the world over for their design-led and technically superior workout apparel.
