The mum-of-two sadly died from cervical cancer on October 27th, 2022.
She has been remembered as a passionate and resilient woman who fought to make her voice heard following the CervicalCheck scandal.
Lynsey has also been remembered as an incredible mum and friend.
Una Healy led the tributes with the singer honouring her dear friend on Instagram.
Alongside a photo of the pair, Healy wrote: "Remembering you today Lynsey and always."
Another wrote, "Today marks two years since we lost Lynsey Bennett—a woman of incredible strength, courage, and resilience."
She wrote, "Lynsey had an amazing will to live which no doubt kept her alive for as long as she did beyond the 6-month prognosis that she was given.
"Her daughters were able to get some extra precious time to spend with their Mam and make some more memories that they will treasure."
Lynsey was one of hundreds of Irish women affected by the CervicalCheck controversy in 2018.
Over 200 women developed cervical cancer after having a misdiagnosed CervicalCheck smear test. Those affected could have been alerted to the early stages of cancer if it wasn't for the misreported smear tests.
Lynsey was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2017.
Her family issued a statement following her untimely passing in 2022.
"It is with great sadness that the family of Lynsey Bennett wish to announce that Lynsey passed away peacefully last night. Lynsey was a very special person,” it said.
"Lynsey’s beautiful girls, father, sisters, family and friends are heartbroken at the passing of Lynsey at the young age of 34 years and would appeal for privacy at the moment."
Lynsey is survived by her two daughters, Zoe and Hailee.
