A major land, air and water search has been launched in Limerick today, following the disappearance of a local woman over the weekend.
The search was launched at 8am this morning in the Pallaskenny area of Co Limerick, with the Shannon-based rescue helicopter joining Limerick Marine Search and Rescue, Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue Service, Ballybunion Coast Guard, Foynes Search and Rescue, Kilkee Coast Guard and locals involved in the search.
According to the Limerick Leader, the woman is aged in her early 20s and was last seen on Saturday afternoon, with her family said to be “very concerned” for her safety.
