A man has passed away while swimming off Killiney Beach in Dublin.
He was in in his 80s.
As RTÉ reports, the incident took place yesterday morning. He had gotten into difficulty while swimming at the popular coastal destination.
The man received medical treatment on the beach, and was then taken to St Vincent's University Hospital. He was subsequently pronounced dead.
