A man has been arrested by Gardaí following an investigation into the murder of Michael Gaine.
Mr Gaine was reported missing from his home in Kerry on March 21 2025.
Human tissue found on his farm were identified in May of the same year.
A man in his 50s has now been arrested in connection with the investigation.
The man was arrested this morning and is being held at a garda station in Kerry.
This is the second arrest in connection with his murder.
On May 25 last year, Gardai arrested and questioned a former US solider, Mike Kelley, on suspicion of his murder.
He was released without charge just 24 hours later.
It has been reported by the Sunday World that it is Kelley who has been arrested again this morning.
Mr Kelley was working and living on Mr Gaine's farm when he disappeared.
