Very sad news.
A man has died in Fountainstown, Co Cork.
The man, who is believed to be in his 50s, was working on a caravan site at the seaside location when an accident occurred.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene shortly after midday today where the man was critically injured, but he died later from his injuries.
RTÉ News says that an investigation is under way with the Health and Safety Authority.
