A man in his 20s is believed to have died in a tragic accident in Sligo last night.
According to Breaking News this morning, the 28-year-old fell from a height while trying to gain entry to the Sligo City Hotel at 1.45am.
He was subsequently taken to Sligo Regional Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Gardaí in Sligo are understood to be investigating the incident but the man’s death is not thought to be suspicious.
