Man in Critical Condition Following Shooting In Clondalkin This Evening

A man is fighting for his life in hospital tonight after being shot several times in the Clondalkin area.

The victim, who is said to be known to gardaí, presented himself at Clondalkin Garda Station at 6.30pm, having been shot several times in the body and neck. According to the Sunday World, the man may have had connections with gangs from the Crumlin and Drimnagh area and was shot in the car park of Bawnogue Church before making his way to the station.

He is now in a serious condition in hospital.
