A man in his 40s has died, and five others have been injured following a three-vehicle collision in Co. Down earlier this morning.
According to Breaking News, the crash took place shortly after midnight on the Belfast Road in Dundrum.
Four of the five people taken to hospital are said to have sustained serious injuries. The man who died was 49-years-old.
Police in Co. Down are currently appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. Those either with information, or dash cam footage are being asked to call 101 and to quote the reference number 43 on 16 December 2021.
