A man has been killed after a two-car collision in Limerick

Devastating news.

A man has been killed in a car crash in Limerick.

According to RTE, the two car collision occurred on the N21 near Croagh at around 7.30pm yesterday evening.

The man, who was in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem is due to be carried out.

Another man was injured in the incident, and was taken to University Hospital Limerick.

Thankfully, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
