The incident occurred in 2018.
A man who murdered his partner in front of their six-year-old daughter has received a life sentence.
Edmundas Dauksa, a 51-year-old fishmonger, murdered partner Ingrida Maciokaite, 31, in her Dundalk, Co Louth home on September 18, 2018 when he stabbed her 18 times.
RTÉ News reports that Dauksa and Maciokaite had two children together after Dauksa, who was already married, began a relationship with Maciokaite.
Dauksa pleaded not guilty claiming that he had not been "fuelled by murderous intent." He was sentenced to life in prison this week.
