A man is in a serious condition after an electric scooter accident in Dublin.
Gardaí closed the road today where the man, in his 40s, fell from the electric scooter he was travelling on on Herberton Road, Dublin 12.
The man was taken to St James Hospital after he fell from his vehicle. He is understood to be in a serious condition.
The road was closed for some time this morning, November 16, for Forensic Collision Investigators to technically examine the scene. It has since re-opened fully.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. They are asking any road users who were travelling in the area at this time, and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), to make this footage available.
