“Help me, I need to talk with Kate and Gerry McCann”
A Polish woman has attempted to show ‘evidence’ that proves she is missing British girl, Madeleine McCann.
Julia Wandelt went viral this week after posting on Instagram claiming that she is Madeleine, who was just four years old when she disappeared from her family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal in 2007.
Julia (21), claims to have a freckle on her leg and a speck in her eye in the same places as Madeleine. She also says she looks like Maddie’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann.
She now claims that missing girl’s family have asked her to take a DNA test.

A source close to the McCanns told The Mirror: “The family are taking no chances, they are willing to look at all leads. It is important they look at all of the factors. The girl does look similar. There’s no disputing that.
“If what she says is true, there is every chance it could be her. It all adds up.”
It is believed a McCann family member has come forward to offer to take part in a DNA test.
Julia hopes to make direct contact with the McCanns and created an Instagram account named @iammadeleinemcan earlier this week – the profile now has more than 400,000 followers. The profile bio reads: “Help me, I need to talk with Kate and Gerry McCann”
In a widely shared video, the woman explains that a comment from her grandmother prompted her to think she may be the missing youngster a few years ago.
In the video she says: “According to documents I am 21-years-old, but I think, personally, when someone kidnapped child, he or she probably changed its ID.”
She then proceeds to illustrate what similarities she has to Maddie, revealing two freckles on her leg, before saying “I hope you believe me”. Another post on her Instagram account illustrates she has a speck next to her eye that resembles Maddie’s.

In a post published this weekend the woman claimed she has spoken to someone from the McCann family, and she now hopes to talk directly to Kate and Gerry McCann and arrange a DNA test to prove that she is their daughter.
Answering questions she was asked by some followers, the unnamed woman said she does not remember being taken away and has no recollection of most details of her childhood.
She said: “I don’t remember being taken away. I mean, I don’t remember almost my entire childhood.”
