This Meath man bears a striking resemblance to a very famous singer

A Meath-based woman has appealed to Ed Sheeran for a very specific photo, but it’s not the usual selfie she’s after. 

Līga Šlekone wants a photo of Ed Sheeran with her boyfriend.

Why?

Well, Līga, who lives in Ratoath, happens to be dating an Ed Sheeran look-alike. And she’s not kidding around; her boyfriend Declan really is a dead ringer for the British star.

Sending a message to Sheeran on Instagram, Līga revealed the couple’s friends refer to Declan as ‘Irish Ed’. He’s even been asked to pose for photos with fans who were convinced they were meeting their idol… and happily obliged.

Līga’s hoping her request will be shared so it catches the attention of the Thinking Out Loud singer and she can finally get that shot for the mantelpiece. And if he threw in a pair of tickets to the Dublin show, sure what harm?
