As regards the weather for the next couple of days, here's what you can expect. Met Éireann says tomorrow is likely to be windy with plenty of drizzle and mist "scattered about".STATUS ORANGE

"Friday night will be windy and very wet over the western half of the country, with heavy possibly thundery rain in many areas and some flooding. Winds will be strong to gale force and gusty southeasterly. "Further rain in all areas during Saturday, with some heavy falls in more eastern areas".Things should improve somewhat on Sunday but at the moment, the outlook for next week is "cold, wintry and showery".
