Once you're in the territory of issuing a pollen forecast, you know it'll never be good news.
You know that there's going to be too much pollen.
Yesterday evening, Met Éireann issued their latest pollen forecast for the four provinces.
The next two days are set to be hard enough for those who have hayfever, with all four provinces set to experience High levels of pollen on Monday (July 2). However, those with summer allergies might get away with it down in Munster today, where the pollen levels are only Medium.
Unfortunately, the rest of the country will be suffering, as there will be high levels of pollen in Leinster, Connacht and Ulster.
It could be worse, however. High is not Met Éireann's highest category for pollen. On Sunday evening, Connacht and Ulster both experienced Very High levels of pollen.
