This comes after news that the week was going to be pretty bleak in terms of wetness.
Met Eireann confirmed yesterday that there will be rain, thunder and flooding across the country as our autumnal damp spell only got worse.
As for the weekend temperature wise, it's looking chilly enough with lowest temperatures around 0 degrees in the north and between 3 and 6 degrees elsewhere on Friday.
Saturday's a slight bit warmer with highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees, but similar lows of 0 to 3 moving into Sunday, which will be even colder in the nighttime as frost appears bringing with it lowest temperatures between -1 and +2 degrees.
