Be safe out there.

Met Éireann has set a yellow weather warning in place until tomorrow night.

According to the weather forecaster, we’re in for a lot of snow and ice, and it’s urging people to be careful on the roads and paths.

“Scattered snow showers Thursday night, accumulations of less than 3cm.

“Showers more frequent in the west and north of the country.”

However, it appears that we might be in for warmer weather than previous days, with temperatures reaching up to 10 degrees.

“Dull today in Leinster & Munster with rain & drizzle; persistent at times. Brighter elsewhere, but with scattered blustery showers & risk of thunder.

“Less cold than recent days, with highs of 6 to 10 degrees (north to south). Southwest breezes will gradually freshen everywhere.”

Wrap up and stay safe!
