Be safe out there.

As we already knew, we’re in for a rather frosty and cold few days.

However, Met Eireann has now issued a status yellow snow warning for several counties.

The warning was issued this evening, and is valid until tomorrow at 11am.

Met Eireann said:

“Status Yellow – Snow/Ice warning for Connacht, Cavan and Donegal

Tonight and on Monday morning, wintry showers will bring some accumulations of snow, especially on high ground.

Valid: 18:00 Sunday 26/01/2020 to 11:00 Monday 27/01/2020″

This official warning comes just hours after the national forecaster issued a nationwide weather advisory.
