Gross.

The weekend is here, and you better get the brolly and raincoat out lads.

According to Met Eireann, the weather this weekend will be ‘very disturbed, wet and windy’.

Charming.

The forecast reads:

“Saturday will be a cool cloudy and very blustery day. Heavy showery rain will continue across the midlands, south and west with further squally downpours.”

“Some dry spells too in the east. Southwest gales widely with severe gusts in the south. Highest temperatures 11 to 13 degrees.”

“Sunday will be a mostly cloudy and very blustery day with widespread showers. The showers will be prolonged and heavy with lengthy spells of heavy rain – especially over the south and east with the risk of flooding. Winds will be strong with gales likely near coasts.”

Oh okay then. Some casual flooding. Great.

“Monday will stay very unsettled with lots of blustery showers, most frequent over eastern counties.”

“Winds having backed to the north will be strong with occasional gale gusts.”

“On Tuesday, winds will ease and showers will mostly likely be isolated with most places getting good dry spells. A cold day with sharp frost forming widely on Tuesday night.”

Well, we may just take to the couch for the weekend so.
