Winter is here.

It’s getting cold out there folks!

The weekend is just on the horizon, and and according to Met Eireann, we’re in for a cold one.

“Saturday night temperatures will fall to 5 or 6 degrees and winds will continue light to moderate northwest to north. There’ll be a few showers in the northwest and otherwise it’ll be mainly dry through the night.”

“Sunday will be a dry day with sunshine. Temperatures during the afternoon will range between 11 and 14 degrees and winds will be mainly moderate northerly.”

“It’ll turn cold on Sunday night under clear skies with light winds and there’ll be misty conditions developing.”

“The mist will linger for a time on Monday morning then it will be a mainly dry day with some sunshine breaking through – the best in the south. Temperatures will again range 11 to 13 degrees with light variable winds and it’ll turn cold again overnight on Monday night.”

“Cloud will increase during Tuesday as rain approaches from the west later in the day but much of Tuesday itself will stay dry.|

“Winds will become moderate southwesterly and then after a spell of rain later Tuesday and in to Wednesday the southwesterly winds look like they will persist through the midweek period bringing spells of rain or showers at times.”

So there you have it now. The weather for the weekend.
