Oh dear.

Lads, Met Eireann just issued a yellow weather warning for two counties.

As usual, the western part of the country is seeing the brunt of the bad weather.

The warning reads:

“Status Yellow – Wind warning for Galway and Mayo.”

“Southwest winds will reach mean speeds of 55 to 60 km/h, with gusts of 90 to 100 km/h in exposed coastal areas.”

“Valid: Sunday 02 June 2019 14:00 to Sunday 02 June 2019 19:00”

And to be honest, the rest of the country will be looking at pretty gross weather too.

Met Eireann has warned of heavy showers and gale force winds for the rest of the weekend.

“Heavier and more prolonged showers will become widespread across Connacht this afternoon and later in west Ulster, with just a few scattered showers elsewhere,” the forecast reads.

Temperatures will hit highs of 19 degrees but there will be strong winds happening over night into Monday with further showers, most of them in Connacht, west Ulster and west Munster.

It’ll be “mainly dry elsewhere” with Monday bringing some bright and sunny spells with scattered showers through the day.

Summer… really?
