Sex toy sellers Ann Summers have issued a recall for one of their vibrators following a number of isolated incidents.
The item in question is the ‘Moregasm Black Power Wand’ (item code 74701). The issue? Well, apparently the wires of the cord on the silicone massage device could potentially become exposed with prolonged use.
Because it’s mains powered (you plug it into a socket) this could prove dangerous.
According to notices posted in Ann Summers UK stores, anyone who owns one of the sex toys is advised to stop using it immediately and drop by a store for more information on how to return it.
“The product complies with all relevant CE safety testing standards, but we have taken this voluntary measure in response to a very small number of isolated reports that the wires in the cord have become exposed at the base of the product over a prolonged period of use.” reads the statement.
